Why choose me...
I'm a 32yr old Female Grade 5 Driving Instructor, my Driving School is based
in Taunton and consists of myself and now a Male instructor, we work in and around
Taunton but will travel upto 30mins from Taunton for lessons. We are friendly and most important patient. We
provide a professional and efficient service to help pupils learn how to drive in a reasonable time and without spending more
than is necessary. Lessons are provided in a Fully Air Conditioned, Dual Controlled Car. Learning to drive should be fun not scary, if you have
to pay for lessons you should enjoy them not be panicking about having lessons or hating the fact your instructor shouts...
shouting only makes a situation worse, we prefer to keep pupils calm and try to get them to learn from the mistakes. We
also teach pupils to drive for life not just to scrape through a test. All
pupils receive a Free Progress Pack which helps the Instructor and the pupil to monitor how they are doing in each
required area and help diagnose their strengths and weaknesses, this is designed to help both parties know when the pupil
is ready for their test and not have to wait and rely on our say so or the pupil to jump ahead and book a test to early
and risk failing... The packs have pre-drawn
briefings which help the learner when at home to remember necessary routines and also help parents or friends guide the pupil
when having private practise and keeping the required DSA test standard. Jeanies
Driving School can provide Theory and Hazard Perception practise discs to borrow (subject to a refundable holding
deposit) and also provide In-Car Hazard Perception training via an In-Car DVD Player/Laptop, this helps the pupil learn
how to identify and most importantly time when they have to click on the 'Hazard' if they are struggling to work it
out at home. - All pupils are welcome
without prejudice all you need is a valid provisional or full licence.

Common Questions:
How
long will it take to learn? The
'Average' pupil will take approximately 25 to 30 hours to learn everything they need to, to successfully pass a driving
test, wether or not the pupil will feel confident to take a test varies to each individual, also the amount of private
practise a pupil receives will effect the hours it takes to get to a confident test standard, so i have given out the average
hours taken by my pupils. Obviously the more private practise the pupil receives, the quicker the pupil will learn and become
consistent enough to help them pass the test the 1st time.
Why do i not give free lessons away to encourage new pupils to learn
with me?
First of all i dont feel i have to, i constantly have a busy diary due to the
number of recommendations i receive, i know i provide an excellent standard of tuition, the prices i state are the prices
you will pay, i offer the 1st 2hours for £15 each, so you can try before you commit and not spend a ridiculous amount
of money or have to commit straight away and sign up to 10hours of lessons before you know if you are happy or not with your
instructor. I offer discounts off PrePaid Block Bookings and Intensive
Courses.
I do however give a free hour and half lesson to each active pupil who recommends
a friend who books on with me as a 'thank you' and also to ALL pupils who have taken 10hours or more tuition with
me on the hour of the test
Are Lessons Available in Automatic Vehicles?
Unfortunalety all lessons are provided in a manual
car, unless the pupil provides an automatic vehicle (£15per hour rate applies) as the need for automatic tuition
is not sufficient enough to provide an automatic vehicle within my driving school.
